"As far back as I remember, I have frequently being ill or just not feeling well. I was a divorce child and did not have a very happy childhood. I did not have any appetite and I got my measles, chickenpox and other child diseases more or less at the same time. My head was woosy and I used glasses although the doctor did not find anything wrong. I never did finish my education.
Obviously I went to countless doctors and at one time I was put into the hospital for all kinds of tests and scans. They never found anything wrong and gave me endless receipts for valium tablets, which I found absolutely useless and dangerous. I was very stubborn and continued searching for help, I knew there was something wrong, but I am sure I was considered a hypocondriac.
I learned about candida and went on a strict diet and it helped a little. One day in 2002 I read in the English paper here in Spain an interview with Sally Horn and decided immediately to go and see her. She not only told me what was wrong with me, which I found very interesting and reassuring , also how she was going to deal with it. It took some time to build up my immune system that had been damaged for years but very soon I was, and still am, healthier and happier than I have ever been before.. "Hasta donde puedo recordar, solía estar enfermo con frecuencia o sin sentirme bien. Mis padres se divorciaron y no tuve una infancia muy feliz. No tenía mucho apetito y tuve la viruela y otras enfermedades de la infancia más o menos al mismo tiempo. Mi cabeza estaba nublada y usaba gafas, aunque según mi medico estaba bien. "I came to live in Spain in 2005 and had not been well for a couple of years before hand.  I was suffering with an irregular heart beat, weight loss, panic attacks and extreme anxiety followed by exhaustion.  I had become sensitive to perfume, chemicals and cleaning products. I struggled to eat as after a few mouthfuls I would feel as if my body couldn't deal with any more food. I have never been on a diet in my life and yet my weight was barely over 6 stone. The Doctor's told me it was my age at 41 they told me that it was my time of life and I needed HRT as I had collapsed on the bathroom floor (they said it was a hot flush!!). Me trasladé a España después de un periodo muy estresante de mi vida, y de sufrir ataques de pánico y ansiedad que me delibitaban.
